Ensconced in the majestic hills of Tanahun, Raipur VDC lies 18 Km west of Dulegaunda in Prithvi Highway. The village is typical with rural lifestyle, sparse hamlets dotted on the hill ridges, and minimal infrastructure.
The mild warm climate of this region favors for lush orange production. This is why most of the farmers are engaged in orange farming from which they make a yearly income from 100000-500000 rupees.
The orange production in this village could be burgeoned if the concerned agencies and departments focus on various problems the farmers are facing in there.
